The team of SpaceDyS has more than 20 years experience in the field of algorithm’s development and software for the space dynamics.

The routines of Orbfit will be used daily from the robot CLOMON2, which calculates the risk level for NeoDyS and from other projects such as the ESA Program – SSA and Space missions. During 2012-2014, thanks to the cofounding of the Administrative unit of Tuscany (Regione Toscana), the team could develop algorithms and an high performed software for the creation of basic libraries of a new software tool for the orbit determination.
Following the final step of the project the company decided to continue the development of the project, by using its own human resources and completed and tested an efficient numerical propagator able to work in all dynamical conditions of the Solar System. In particular, the propagator can be used for the NEO’s. This characteristic makes the software especially suitable to be used for the NEOCC (Near Earth Object Coordination Centre).
